The roman amphitheatre and Juliet’s balcony are just two main features of this elegant medieval city famous all over the world for being the setting of the most romantic love story ever told.
The civil ceremony takes place in the Room of Frescoes, in the cloister of San Francesco, where Juliet was buried and where it is said that the two young lovers were married. The first Saturday of the month ceremonies are performed in the Tapestry Hall of the majestic palace on the main Piazza Bra opposite to the Arena. Very close to Venice and Lake Garda, both well worth a visit. Past ages, different styles, squares and streets will make you feel surrounded by two thousand years of history.
